Midroi completed her Dipoma in Graphic Design pre-exposed to a number diverse industries and disciplines. As an artist, she sold her work at farmer's markets and bazaars across the Vancouver Lower Mainland and Vancouver Island between 09-10, and worked with watercolour mediums and Japanese ink paint & calligraphy.
Through her studies in multidisciplinary design at LaSalle College, Vancouver, she pursued a specialization in concept creation & illustration, worked a 2-month internship at FashionKitchen Magazine, and met her partner-in-crime, Justin Dhaliwal.
Midori has worked as a stage light technician and set designer at the Broken Wing Theatre (08-12) in Coquitlam, BC, and the Rebel Haunt Outdoor Theatre (11-13) in Port Moody. She left a promising future in criminology and criminal profiling studies, for the freeing lifestyle of the arts; and has also run two freelance businesses, the first in tattoo pre-sketch illustration (Jan-July 13), and the second in graphic art & design, providing general graphic design services, but specializaing in illustration, character designs, and multidisciplined visual storytelling methods (since Dec '14).
